Heart Friendly
Meals with a Heart Friendly icon are required to comply with strict criteria for fat, saturated fat, trans fat, salt, energy, protein and fibre content. Each of these dinners are subject to laboratory testing to ensure that these standards are met, and are subjected to random testing to further guarantee that these standards are continually achieved.
Gluten Free
Meals flagged with this icon are guaranteed to be free from gluten, a protein found in grains such as wheat, oats, barley, rye, and triticale. In accordance with Australian standards, these meals undergo laboratory testing to ensure there is no detectable gluten.
Dairy Free
These meals do not contain any ingredients derived from milk or milk products. Our recipes have been independently laboratory-tested to ensure strict compliance with dairy-free standards.
Diabetes Friendly
TLC offers a range of meals that have been analysed to meet the nutrient criteria for Diabetes Friendly meals.
Low Salt
These meals meet guidelines for low salt dinners not exceeding 120mg per 100g for sodium. Each dinner is subject to laboratory testing to determine both sodium and potassium levels to comply with Food Labelling Regulations.
Soft Chew
This icon identifies meals that meet specific dietary requirements for individuals with dental issues. It is based on the NSW Government (ACI) advice on Texture Modified Diets (updated February 2025), which specifies foods that are soft, tender, and easy to chew with minimal biting required.
Vegetarian
The Vegetarian icon indicates meals suitable for those following a meat-free diet. While these plant-based options are prepared in a facility that also processes meat, we take rigorous care to minimize the risk of cross-contamination.
Halal
The Halal icon provides confidence that a meal is certified to comply with Islamic dietary and ethical laws. These meals have received official certification provided by the Halal Accreditation Authority Pty Ltd.
