Heating Instructions: TLCMeals

TLC Meals, quick and easy to prepare

Your TLC meals are designed for maximum convenience - straight from the freezer to your table. Please note that because appliances vary, these times should be used as a guide. Please refer to the meal label for specific cooking times and instructions. Always ensure your meal is heated thoroughly before consuming.

Quick Prep Essentials

  • No Defrosting Required: Cook straight from frozen for the best results.
  • Storage: Keep meals frozen at all times. They will remain fresh in your freezer for up to 18 months.
  • The "Feel" Test: Before removing the lid, feel the bottom of the container. It should be hot all the way across. If you detect cold spots, continue heating in small increments.

Helpful Tips for Perfect Results

  • Dense Meals: Certain dishes are denser and may require the upper end of the suggested heating times to ensure the centre is piping hot.
  • Removing the Lid: After heating, if the lid is difficult to peel back, simply use the tip of a knife to carefully cut around the inside edge of the container.
  • Safety First: Always use oven mitts when removing containers from the oven or microwave, as the trays will be hot.
